    Program Manager, Partner Engineering

    Locations: Lagos, Nigeria, Kampala, Uganda

    About the Program Manager, Partner Engineering  Position

    • As a Partner Engineering Program Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager Programs and Operations and the rest of the leadership team in driving programs delivery within department and cross-functional teams to achieve key business outcomes.
    • You will champion key change management initiatives that impact key processes, teams or tools within Partner Engineering.
    • In addition to this, you will liaise with local operations to ensure our delivery teams are well supported in service to our partners.

    Key Responsibilities
    Reporting to Senior Manager Programs and Operations of Partner Engineering in:

    Program Management:

    • Plan the overall program and monitor progress to make sure that milestones are being met across the various projects and programs.
    • Responsible for demand planning and resource management for the delivery of all programs within the department.
    • Ability to work and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure our delivery.
    • Manage stakeholders who are involved in the projects and programs in the program.
    • Track, forecast, and report on department program delivery against agreed metrics.
    • Responsible for the daily management through the life cycle of the program.
    • Support the Project Coordinators within the department.

    Change Management:

    • Ability to work with Head of other key functions within Andela to run programs or initiatives that they require support and input from Partner Engineering. Support and coordinate Partner Engineering teams for the duration of the program.
    • Drive the documentation and implementation of new processes to ensure they are aligned  best practices to increase the efficiency of the Department.

    Delivery Operations Management:

    • Work closely with the local operations team on key processes that impact Partner Engineering ensuring that the department needs are understood and are  addressed.
    • Coordinate the  processes to support the on-boarding of new Partner Engineering team members with training and materials to ensure that team members are true representatives of Andela

    Budgeting Operations:

    • Coordinate closely with the Directors of Partner Engineering on the Budget spend at the country and regional levels.
    • Work closely  with the finance team on the tracking of the departments spend.

    Data & Insights operations:

    • Interpret Data: Data reporting analysts use statistical techniques to interpret the results from the data they acquired so that they can use the information to create regular reports.
    • Prioritize Business Goals - Work closely with management to prioritize business needs and stay up to date with the goals of the organization as they evolve.

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a transformational, strategic and innovative human to lead and oversee global talent acquisition, operations and analytics for all of Andela’s corporate functions.
    • This is a highly visible role, reporting into the Head of People,  partnering with leadership enterprise-wide and critical to the execution of our long-term business strategy. You will be responsible for optimizing the global talent acquisition strategies, brand building, process improvement and growing the capabilities/efficiencies of our Staff Recruiting team.
    • You will shape the future of talent acquisition by building a high volume talent acquisition org.

    Key Responsibilities
    Commercial and Team Leadership:

    • Cultivate a high-performing recruiting organisation - with an emphasis on building a best in class sales and corporate recruiting team.
    • Lead the Staff Recruiting team to hire high quality talent, consistently hitting targets
    • Drive initiatives that inspire an insight driven approach to talent acquisition effectively at all levels of the organization across the uniquely cross-cultural Andela environment.
    • Create and manage annual and quarterly operational planning process; working collaboratively with cross functional leaders.

    Business Strategy:

    • Partner with business leaders to set and drive strategy, goals, process, and metrics.
    • Partner with functional leadership to determine workforce planning, talent development strategies with a focus on high quality, cost effectiveness and timely execution.
    • Develop and execute a competitive talent strategy that will ensure that the business attracts and hires the exceptional talent for each function
    • Establish a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that drives talent acquisition and brand recognition for Andela
    • Anticipate emerging talent requirements and proactively developing solutions to meet them and/or head off short-term critical talent shortages.
    • Collaborate effectively with our global engineering talent acquisition function to achieve economies of scale and share best practices

    Modernize and Optimize Staff Recruiting:

    • Plan and deploy the infrastructure and architecture of our global staff recruiting engine.
    • Design and implement employer branding, recruitment marketing using industry best practice and data driven strategies

    Team Leadership & Change Management:

    • Take an awesome team to the next level - design diverse career paths & growth opportunities for your team.
    • Provide direct support and coaching to your team as they help their direct reports through possible transitions and strategy changes
    • Ensure quality is priority at all times and enable your team to keep this at the top of their minds
