    Facility Officer

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a reliable and organized hands on individual with strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to handle basic physical tasks like lifting and moving.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform daily inspections, identifying and addressing issues to ensure a clean and safe work environment for staff members;
    • Ensure proper maintenance of company assets (premises, cars, generators, office appliances, equipment, furniture, etc.);
    • Monitoring energy sources – ensuring that lights and equipment are turned off at close of work, and managing use of inverters;
    • Assist with building construction and refurbishments;
    • Management of parking lots; and routine fumigation of company premises and offices.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess an HND / OND or SSCE qualification.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with facilities maintenance, including cleaning and maintenance duties.
    • Ability to stand and walk for hours, and lift items.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong time management skills.
    • Ability to identify and resolve basic facility issues.
    • Familiarity with basic maintenance practices, such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

    Facilities Supervisor

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a meticulous and capable hand with outstanding technical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, who is equally proactive and innovative, and possesses a good measure of attention to details, along with knowledge of building systems and safety regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure the smooth and safe operation of company buildings or facilities, managing their maintenance, repairs, and overall upkeep;
    • Ensuring constant availability of basic utilities and services, such as electricity, water, sewer and waste disposal;
    • Coordinate and schedule equipment and building repairs, installations, and maintenance work with vendors and appropriate in-house staff;
    • Maintain and update fire safety as well as HSE policies; and prepare weekly report of facility activities.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
    • Significant experience in facility management or related roles.
    • Certifications in safety, energy management, or maintenance are added advantage.
    • Ability to lead, manage and motivate staff.

    • Experience interacting contractors and vendors.
    • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to facility operations.
