Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continental Chef to prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international and continental cuisine, with an emphasis on taste, presentation, and nutritional balance, a high level of professionalism, and a passion for culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare meals daily focusing on continental intercontinental cuisine; create weekly menus based on popular dietary preferences, suitable ingredients and flavors, and nutritional needs; shop for fresh ingredients, manage pantry inventory, and maintain proper food storage; ensure the kitchen is kept clean, hygienic, and organized at all times; and coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations of the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional chef, with a focus on continental and intercontinental cuisine.
• Culinary certification or formal training highly desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently, with zeal and dedication.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Flexibility to adjust menus and schedules based on customer demands.
• Passionate about food and presentation.
• Punctual, reliable, and organized.
• Calm under pressure and adaptable.

Additional Information:

• We are looking for high flyers with a proactive and results-oriented approach together with a strong work ethic. They must be self-motivated and disciplined and be able to work with little or no supervision.

Remunerations

• N250,000 - N320,000 plus target allowance.
