    Learning & Development (Training Officer)

    Department: Human Capital / People Advisory

    Role Overview

    Nextzon Business Services Limited is seeking a proactive and creative Learning & Development (Training Officer) to drive capability development across the firm and client engagements. The ideal candidate will design, deliver, and evaluate impactful learning interventions that strengthen workforce performance and support business growth.

    This role requires someone who can combine instructional design, facilitation expertise, and digital learning innovation to create engaging and measurable training experiences.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and implement training programs aligned with business objectives and competency frameworks
    • Develop high-quality learning materials, presentations, and digital content (including videos and microlearning modules)
    • Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs
    • Conduct training needs analysis to identify capability gaps across teams and projects
    • Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
    • Maintain accurate training records, reports, and learning documentation
    • Support leadership development, consulting capability building, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives
    • Collaborate with business leaders to align learning interventions with project delivery needs
    • Leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance learning experience and accessibility

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Learning & Development, Training, or HR roles
    • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
    • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms
    • Experience with digital learning tools or Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage
    • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
    • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills

    Human Resources Officer (HR Officer)

    Role Overview

    Nextzon Business Services Limited is looking to engage a competent and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to support end-to-end HR operations and contribute to building a high-performance culture.

    The successful candidate will play a critical role in talent management, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance, while supporting strategic HR initiatives across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
    • Manage onboarding and employee integration processes
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
    • Support performance management processes, including appraisals and KPI tracking
    • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
    • Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR issues
    • Support learning and development initiatives in collaboration with the L&D function
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and regulatory requirements
    • Prepare HR reports and analytics to support decision-making
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture programs

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in an HR role (experience in consulting or professional services is an advantage)
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
    • Experience with HR data analysis and reporting
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • HR certification (e.g., CIPM) is an added advantage
