Human Resources (HR) Manager at Viju Industries Nigeria Limited

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our employees. The core focus of this role is twofold: driving strategic recruitment to build a top-tier workforce and implementing effective personnel management to foster a productive, compliant, and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: End-to-end recruitment management including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates for production, sales, and administrative roles.
• People Management: Oversee daily HR operations, employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management to maintain high morale and productivity.
• Compliance: Ensure all company policies and employment practices align strictly with Nigerian Labour Laws and industry regulations.
• Records & Payroll Support: Maintain accurate and confidential employee databases, track attendance, and assist in payroll administration.
• Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to enhance staff capabilities, particularly for factory and field sales teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Gender: Female
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Personnel Management, or a related social science field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an HR Specialist or HR Manager, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
• Professional Certification: Certification from CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria) is a major advantage.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in HR software/MS Office.Attributes: Exceptional leadership abilities, high emotional intelligence, and a problem-solving mindset.
