    General Manager, Plant Head

    About the Job
    What we seek!!!

    • The Plant Manager contributes to the success of Olam plants across the globe. You are responsible to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety & productivity.
    • The Plant Head plays a critical role which enables our plants to reach optimum efficiency level this means zero defects, zero waste, and zero losses.

    Nature, Scope and Major Accountabilities
    The Plant Manager leads various functional teams to drive engagement and increased performance:

    • Maintain & monitor production in respect of output yield/extraction capacity against set targets.
    • Eye for detail: You control stock levels (through line managers/supervisors) of both raw materials and finished products to ensure efficient response to product specifications.
    • Purchase of all materials necessary to maintain efficient production, handling, and packaging products.
    • Completion of any incident or near miss Root Cause Analyses (SHE-EWO) actions
    • Manage external contractors in a cost-effective manner for cleaning, refuse disposal, gardening, and other routine services. Keep a tab on costs and performance efficiency to ensure cheap yet quality service.

    You drive a culture shift for high performance & collaborative teams:

    • You hold regular health and safety meetings with site head and implement on agreed recommendations from daily and annual contracted audits.
    • You are responsible to lead by example and ensure full employee awareness of safe working practices and their role in maintaining the required standards.
    • In this role you will be challenged to develop your line leadership team.
    • You build people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication. Motivates team members to achieve plan goals.

    Your Profile

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 10-15 years’ experience. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management or similar field
    • You should possess strong team and analytical skills, strategic thinking & leadership abilities.
    • An enthusiasm to work in an unstructured environment will always add value.
    • Your ability to communicate effectively will be an enhancer for this role especially as part of a team
    • You should be able to understand business issues outside of one’s area of expertise.

    Sales Operations Head

    Key Responsibilities

    • Efficient management of current distributor customers. Maximize sales to them through billing all relevant SKUs and maintaining sufficient inventory at their warehouses for secondary sales .
    • Work with Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure all orders are efficiently supplied on time in full.
    • Work with Finance team to ensure all customer claims are processed on time.
    • Work with Marketing team, design and execute all trade marketing initiatives and other on ground sales initiatives as per plan.
    • Roll out Key Distributor (KD) model as per AOP and ensure right execution at each KD level to achieve the targeted ROI.
    • Roll out DMS (Distributor Management Software System) at KD level and ensure tracking all relevant metrics to ensure KD operations success.
    • Work with Capability Development Team to build Sales Team Capability for Segmented Selling, Productivity growth, Data Driven Selling and KD management
    • Achieve the targeted Direct Coverage as per AOP by expanding sales infrastructure in the right towns for maximum productivity.
    • Map outlets by channel type, develop and execute segmented sales strategies by channel type.
    • Ensure all Vans are running every day as per plan. Track Vans’ capacity utilization and ensure the beats are continuously optimized for maximum asset productivity.
    • Work with Analytics team to ensure all field sales related KPIs are tracked accurately, communicated, and used by sales team for everyday improvement.
    • Work with Analytics team to ensure all the customer masters are accurate and are updated for any changes.

    Requirements

    • Candidate with experience in FMCG Sales, Route to Market, Trade Marketing and Channel management.
    • 10 - 15 Years of Sales exposure in Leading Foods & Beverages Company

    Procurement Manager

    Job Description

    • Leads evaluation and selection of suppliers in terms of quality, service, cost, and capability.
    • Procurement of General ,consumable Items (MRO Items), AGO, Raw material and capex
    • Participates in the development of sourcing strategies.
    • Looks for productivity gains, which may include working with Improvement Leaders and Service Center personnel.
    • Looks for alternative sources, through individual research, and working with other Buyers, Sr. Buyers, and Executive Buyers.
    • Oversees contract implementation and supplier performance/interaction; involved with resolving operational issues.
    • Documents issues for quality, service, safety, and supply (into the Sourcing quality data bases) and resolves issues with suppliers.
    • Identifies and drives continuous improvement.
    • Oversees contract implementation and supplier performance and interaction.
    • Negotiates and delivers savings to meet business requirements and company objectives.
    • Understands market dynamics, labor rates/market rates, etc. that may impact buy.
    • Uses Auction Tools, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and/or sealed bids.
    • Creates leveraged agreements as appropriate.
    • Calculates and reports accomplishments in all appropriate systems.
    • Direct procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints
    • manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity, and reliability
    • Develop and manage purchasing budgets and forecasts.
    • End to end process knowledge of Import & Export of commodity and consumable items
    • Understanding local government EXIM rules and regulation.

    Requirements

    • Should have passed engineering +MBA preferred from a good institute and have 5-7 years’ experience in handling end to end procurement in a mass manufacturing company.
    • Good Hands on Contract Management.
    • Experience in DIRECT Procurement of General and consumable Items. (MRO Items), AGO, packaging material and asset purchases.
    • Spend analysis.
    • High competency level in SAP MM, SAP Ariba.
    • Well Versed with process of EXIM Certification & documentation process.
