Safety Engineer at Rated Cranes and Scaffold Ltd

We are hiring a Safety Engineer who must have practical knowledge of gas testing, process safety, Confined Space hands-on, LOTO & Machine Guarding in industrial settings like tank farms, FPSO, vessels, manholes and electrical power plants. 

Key Responsibilities

• Training of clients on Process Safety Management, LOTO, Confined Space, PTW.
• Implement and maintain Process Safety Management systems in line with OSHA 1910.119 and API RP 754.
• Lead training on hazard and operability studies, what-if analysis, and job hazard analysis sessions.
• Manage the LOTO, CSE, Fall Protection, Machine Guarding, PTW scope of work.
• Manage the Gas Testing Simulator Training at clients’ facilities. 
• Attend Safety Meetings and share detailled  report with the HR Manager and The CEO respectively.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Chemical Engineering, Mech, Process Engineering, or a related science discipline
• MUST have 3-5years experience in a process safety, chemical plant, vessels or oil and gas environment.
• Must have HSE certification – OPITO, NEBOSH Diploma, STCW, Marine Certification, 
• A gas tester, Confined Space Attendant or Fire Watch certificate is an advantage
• Please do NOT apply if you do not have a Confined Space, LOTO and process safety experience.

Compensation Package:

• Monthly Salary: NGN500,000 – NGN750,000
• Site Allowance in addition to salary, daily site allowances shall be added to monthly salary.
