    HR Manager

    We are looking for an HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. 

    The ideal candidate will have experience in employee recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures.

    We’re eager to find a human resources manager who connects easily with people and has a detail-oriented mind-set for handling the dynamic nature of today’s workforce.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
    • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
    • Nurture a positive working environment.
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
    • Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
    • Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
    • Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
    • Maintain HR systems and processes.
    • Design and implement employee retention strategies.
    • Manage all core HR departmental areas, including payroll, employee relations, HR admin, learning and development, internal recruitment, employee engagement, and maintaining and improving HR systems. 
    • Ensure the onboarding process is handled in a professional manner to expedite the settling in period.
    • Identify staffing needs and manage the creation of job descriptions and handbooks.
    • Manage the diversity, equality, and inclusion values and practices within the company.
    • Make sure that company values and approach are utilised to strengthen the organisational culture.
    • Consistently recruiting excellent staff.
    • Carrying out necessary administrative duties.
    • Creating clear and concise reports.
    • Handle confidential matters with discretion

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a business-related subject.  
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HR or employee recruitment role.
    • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
    • Familiarity with HR software

    Requirements and skills

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. 
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ethical mind-set
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
    • People oriented and results driven.
    • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
    • Excellent active listening and negotiation skills.
    • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
    • In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
    • A confident leader with experience in leading a team.
    • Experience in monitoring and driving KPIs.
    • The ability to think innovatively and rationally about decisions and come up with creative solutions. 
    • Strong organisational skills.
    • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
