Role Summary

An FMCG company is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Account Officer with a minimum of three (3) years relevant accounting experience. The ideal candidate must possess strong financial and analytical skills, demonstrate excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and hold a valid ICAN certification.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting or finance-related role
• ICAN certification is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of handling advanced Excel functions and reporting
• Good analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Monitor receivables, payables, and other financial transactions
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Generate periodic financial and management reports
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Utilize Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and data management
