    Kitchen Assistant

    Responsibilities

    • Clean surfaces and kitchen utensils
    • Food safety
    • Organising food supplies and ingredients
    • Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
    • Bringing food in from the storeroom
    • Disposing of rubbish
    • Food preparation
    • Occupational safety and health

    Housekeeper

    Responsibilities
    Cleaning:

    • Back of House: Some hotels may also require cleaning of laundry facilities or other back-of-house areas.
    • Furniture and Fixtures: Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and decorative items in both guest rooms and public spaces.
    • Guest Rooms: This includes vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
    • Public Areas: Cleaning lobbies, hallways, elevators, and other common areas to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

    Restocking:

    • Supplies: Replenishing toiletries, linens, and other guest amenities.
    • Food and Drink: Restocking items in guest rooms like coffee, tea, and snacks.

    Reporting:

    • Maintenance Issues: Reporting any damage, malfunctions, or needed repairs in guest rooms or public areas.
    • Safety HazardsIdentifying and reporting any potential safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Laundry: Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing hotel linens and terry.
    • Customer Service: Responding to guest requests and inquiries, and providing a friendly and engaging service.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring cleaning equipment is in good working order and reporting any issues.

    Responsibilties

    • Invoice Processing: Handling the entire invoice process, from receiving to payment and filing.
    • Payment Processing: Managing payments to suppliers and other creditors.
    • Expense Reports: Processing and tracking expense reports.
    • Petty Cash Management: Handling petty cash transactions and maintaining records.
