Mathematics Teacher at Stella Maris High School

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons that meet the needs of students and curriculum requirements.
• Develop and implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to support student learning and development in mathematics.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement, participation, and collaboration in mathematics learning.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and interests of students in mathematics.
• Assess student progress, track academic performance, and provide timely feedback to students and parents in mathematics.
• Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and address concerns in mathematics education.
• Integrate technology and multimedia resources into mathematics lessons to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences to enhance mathematics teaching skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to support school initiatives and goals in mathematics education.
• Engage in reflective practice and continuous improvement to enhance teaching effectiveness and student outcomes in mathematics.
