Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces and kitchen utensils
• Food safety
• Organising food supplies and ingredients
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
• Bringing food in from the storeroom
• Disposing of rubbish
• Food preparation
• Occupational safety and health
• Kitchen organization
• Maintaining cleanliness in every workstation
• Preparing ingredients, including washing and chopping
• Washing utensils and dishes
• Assisting with food preparation and cooking
• Cooking
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Inventory control
• Operating kitchen machinery
• Perform other kitchen duties as directed
• Sanitising food preparation areas
• Serve or distribute food
• Clearing refrigerators, freezers, and storage rooms
• Monitoring kitchen stocks and ordering supplies
• Prepare meat and poultry for cooking
• Preparing hot beverages for customers.

Requirements

• Job Qualification: HND, NCE, OND, SSCE / GCE / NECO
• Experience: Min: 1 - Max: 3
