    Engineering Lead

    • Provide technical leadership and direction for the engineering team, ensuring alignment with business and product objectives.
    • Lead the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of software applications and digital products.
    • Oversee the development of web and mobile applications, APIs and other software solutions.
    • Establish and maintain coding standards, development best practices and quality assurance processes.
    • Review code, identify technical issues and ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and efficient.
    • Manage engineering projects, allocate tasks, monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of development milestones.
    • Mentor, support and supervise software developers, fostering technical growth and accountability.
    • Collaborate with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
    • Make recommendations on technology stacks, software architecture, infrastructure and development tools.
    • Identify and resolve technical challenges, system bugs and performance issues.
    • Oversee software testing, deployment, version control and ongoing system maintenance.
    • Promote the use of modern engineering tools, automation and emerging technologies, including AI where relevant.
    • Monitor system performance, security and reliability, implementing improvements where necessary.
    • Provide regular updates on engineering progress, project timelines, technical risks and resource requirements to management.
