    Social Media Manager / Content Writer

    We are seeking someone who deeply understands fashion storytelling, luxury positioning, digital culture, and audience psychology.

    This role goes beyond posting content. You will help shape the digital voice and world of Domina by Michelle across Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, YouTube, Email campaigns and emerging platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    Content Strategy & Planning

    • Develop and execute a monthly content strategy aligned with brand goals, launches, campaigns, and sales moments
    • Translate brand pillars into clear content angles
    • Plan content calendars across Instagram (Feed, Reels, Stories, Broadcast Channel), TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp & Emails
    • Collaborate with the founder/creative team to align content with brand direction and storytelling

    Content Creation & Direction

    • Create and/or coordinate high-quality content (Reels, carousels, stories, captions)
    • Write on-brand captions & copies.
    • Collaborate / work with with content team during shoots to create high quality visuals.
    • Create, behind-the-scenes content.
    • Ensure visual consistency and premium aesthetics across all posts

    Community Building & Engagement

    • Actively manage comments, DMs, and audience interactions with warmth and brand sensitivity
    • Build and nurture the brand community, making followers feel seen, valued, and connected
    • Manage Instagram Broadcast Channel content and conversations
    • Identify and engage with loyal customers, creators, and brand advocates

    Campaign & Launch Support

    • Support collection launches, sales, pop-ups, and special campaigns with strategic content rollouts
    • Create teaser, launch-day, and post-launch content sequences
    • Align social content with email, WhatsApp, and website messaging
    • Support influencer and UGC activations where required

    Performance Tracking & Optimisation

    • Track key metrics: reach, engagement, saves, clicks, conversions, and growth
    • Share monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
    • Optimise content formats and posting times based on performance data
    • Stay updated on platform changes while filtering trends through brand relevance

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 2 +years experience managing social media for a premium fashion brand.
    • Strong understanding of Instagram-first strategy (Reels, Stories, carousels, Broadcast Channels)
    • Excellent writing skills with a refined, emotionally intelligent tone
    • Strong visual sensibility and eye for premium aesthetics
    • Experience working with content calendars, launches, and campaigns
    • Comfortable balancing creativity with structure and deadlines

    Tools You Should Be Comfortable With

    • Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, Email marketing
    • Canva (or similar design tools)
    • Content scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
    • Google Drive / Excel / Notion / Asana (or similar project tools)
    • Email marketing softwares ( mailchimp, Brevo)
    • Basic analytics and insights reporting
    • iPhone videography skill

    Personality & Cultural Fit (Very Important)

    You are:

    • Naturally organised and detail-oriented
    • Emotionally intelligent and brand-sensitive
    • Calm, teachable, proactive, and reliable
    • Curious about culture, storytelling, and craftsmanship
    • Able to take direction but also think independently
    • Passionate about premium, timeless fashion

    Email marketing:

    • collaborate with marketing team to create strong email campaigns using our email planner

    Requirements

    We’re looking for someone who:

    • Has worked at least 2 years as social media manager for fashion brand
    • Must be female & reside on Lagos mainland
    • Has experience managing premium fashion or lifestyle brands
    • Understands luxury/premium brand positioning
    • Is highly creative and visually driven
    • Has strong caption writing and storytelling skills
    • Understands Instagram and TikTok trends deeply
    • Can independently plan and execute ideas
    • Has basic design skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite is a plus)
    • Has knowledge in using email marking platforms ( mailchimp, Brevo)
    • Is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
    • Understands aesthetics, moodboards, and visual direction
    • Understands email marketing & is conversant with email marketing tools.
    • Must be based in Lagos mainland, Ikeja environ

    Bonus Points If You:

    • Have experience with Meta Ads
    • Understand email marketing
    • Have worked with fashion creators/influencers
    • Have experience shooting/editing short-form video content
    • Love fashion, culture, storytelling, and visual art
