Job Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production. This role involves monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines according to production specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate major problems to maintenance teams.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain production logs and report any issues or discrepancies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials if required.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
