    Finance Lead (Agri-foods Solar Sales Focus)

    About the Role

    • The Finance Lead will manage the financial operations, controls, and reporting for a new program supporting young women in the agrifood value chain with solar systems and energy-efficient freezers. The role is responsible for the full spectrum of grant-related financial management: day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, documentation, budget tracking, compliance, and preparation of periodic reports.
    • A central part of this role is developing and managing simple, inclusive payment-plan processes tailored to the cashflows of women traders. This includes subscription models, lease-to-own, and hybrid plans that align with daily and weekly market rhythms. Because these payment plans require only BVN and verifiable business locations, the Finance Lead will design screening, onboarding, and risk-assessment steps that keep access easy while ensuring portfolio quality. This will require direct engagement in the field to understand customer realities, repayment behavior, and the operational challenges agents face.
    • The Finance Lead will also ensure accurate financial reporting, documentation, and compliance with all donor requirements, maintaining strict alignment with approved budgets, record-keeping standards, and SunFi’s internal controls. Over time, this role will grow into a core part of SunFi’s finance team, supporting the scaling of these payment-plan models across other markets and regions.

    Job Responsibilities

    Financial Operations and Controls

    • Manage day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, financial entries, and internal controls related to the program.
    • Maintain disciplined documentation processes in line with donor requirements and SunFi’s internal audit standards.
    • Ensure accurate recording of expenses, collections, asset purchases, and field disbursements.
    • Oversee treasury activities relating to program cashflows, including vendor payments, market-level collections tracking, and bank reconciliations.
    • Payment Plans, Eligibility Design, and Portfolio Quality
    • Design and maintain the financial screening and eligibility process for women traders using BVN and verifiable business locations, driving innovation as needed.
    • Develop simple, low-friction workflows to support flexible payment plans, including but not limited to daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
    • Work closely with field teams to validate customer information, understand cashflow patterns, and adjust payment-plan models as needed.
    • Monitor repayment behavior;  identify early warning signals to protect portfolio health.
    • Support experimentation with subscription, L2O, hybrid, and seasonal payment plans to identify the most scalable options.
    • Financial Reporting/ Financial Planning & Analysis
    • Ensure every financial requirement of the grant-backed program is met, including: quarterly financial reporting, narrative inputs tied to financial performance, MEL-aligned financial data capture, asset register updates, and documentation for monitoring visits or audits.
    • Prepare all financial statements required for milestone-based disbursements.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in collaboration with the rest of the Finance Team.
    • Track all expenditures against the approved program budget and flag deviations
    • Work with the Sales teams to ensure field data aligns with financial reporting.
    • Produce detailed variance analyses, burn-rate reports, and financial summaries for internal and donor use.
    • Support with budget control and reporting to ensure budget adherence/updates.

    Solar Sales Lead (Agri-foods Focus)

    About the Role

    • The Agrifood Solar Sales Lead will drive SunFi’s entry and growth in the agrifood market with a strong focus on women-led cold-chain and fresh-produce businesses that rely on power to preserve and sell food daily. This role will lead field activation, agent recruitment and coaching, market penetration, and ongoing optimization of the grant-backed program supporting young female traders with solar systems and cooling solutions. Although delivering the grant is a major component of the first year, this role will continue to expand and support SunFi’s long-term sector growth strategy well beyond the grant period.
    • This is a field-heavy, entrepreneurial role for someone who can drive field sales, build systems, motivate people, and deliver commercial results in complex markets.

    Job Responsibilities

    Sector Penetration and Market Expansion

    • Achieve revenue and profitability targets with Month-on-Month Growth, by leading SunFi’s growth across Lagos agrifood markets and identifying high-potential communities, cold-chain traders, and productive-use clusters.

    • We’re hiring a sharp, resourceful E-commerce Sales Associate to power SunFi’s direct-to-customer sales engine. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of sales, operations, and data,  not a script-based call center position. You'll manage the frontlines of our inbound funnel: qualifying leads, holding intelligent solar conversations, tracking data across CRM tools, and ensuring no opportunity slips through the cracks.     Super Distribution Sales Lead

    About the Role 

    • The Super Distribution Sales Lead is responsible for aggressively scaling SunFi’s agent-driven distribution network across Nigeria—particularly within key solar-dense clusters. This includes expanding and managing a commercial network of 55 Master Agents and 500+ Sub Agents, driving high sales productivity, ensuring channel excellence, and maintaining superior customer satisfaction on financed and non-financed solar deals.
    • This is a high-ownership role involving field execution, network expansion, performance leadership, agent training, analytics, and coordination with internal teams to ensure SunFi’s systems, financing, and solar products are successfully adopted in the mass market.

    Responsibilities

    Network Expansion & Channel Leadership

    • Recruit, activate, and manage a network of over 55 Master Agents and 500+ Sub Agents across prioritized territories.
    • Conduct market mapping to identify new agent clusters and high-potential retail/last-mile sales channels.
    • Develop and deploy structured onboarding programs for agents, retail partners, and micro-distributors.

    Key Account Support Intern

    About the Role

    • The Key Account Support Intern will support the Key Account Associate in managing all subscription-based deals and deployment projects under SunFi’s Embedded Sales & Distribution (ES&D) Channel. This includes Project 960 (Betking–Arnergy partnership) as well as other subscription deals involving OEMs, solar partners, financiers, and last-mile agents, other customer catergory.
    • The intern will play a critical role in coordinating documentation, agent onboarding, deployment readiness, customer support, payment tracking, and cross-functional communication across these subscription projects.     Job Responsibilities
