Communication & Content Writing Analyst at SunFi Technology Limited

About the Role:

• As our Communications & Content Writer, you are at the heart of how SunFi tells its story. Your role spans SEO-driven content writing, multi-format communications, and high-stakes proposal and grant writing. You ensure that SunFi’s brand voice is consistently reflected across channels, from blog posts and newsletters to funding applications and strategic documents. By turning complex ideas into simple, persuasive, and engaging narratives, you help SunFi build visibility, credibility, and growth.
• This role is pivotal to achieving our marketing and business objectives, strengthening SunFi’s digital presence, driving thought leadership in clean energy, and supporting leadership in securing funding and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

Content Writing

• Research and draft SEO-optimized blog posts and other content formats to boost organic visibility.
• Write engaging copy and content for emails, newsletters, video scripts, reports and other formats as may be assigned that reflect SunFi’s fun yet professional brand tone.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all content supports campaign objectives, lead generation, and customer acquisition goals.

Strategic Communications

• Translate SunFi’s technical and financial offerings into clear, compelling, and impactful narratives for customers, partners, and investors.
• Draft communications across multiple formats including press releases, announcements, brochures, sales enablement materials and thought-leadership pieces.
• Ensure all written content aligns with SunFi’s voice, messaging structure, and communications strategy.
• Provide writing support for internal communications, ensuring clarity and consistency across teams.

Grant & Proposal Writing

• Draft, and refine grant applications, business proposals, and funding submissions that position SunFi as an innovative, impactful partner.
• Develop structured, persuasive documents to support leadership in fundraising and business development efforts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and translate it into high-quality written outputs.
• Maintain a content repository of grant templates, proposals, and supporting documents for reuse and adaptation.

• A versatile writer who can adapt tone and style across blogs, newsletters, proposals, and formal communications.
• Skilled in SEO writing and comfortable applying keyword research to boost visibility.
• Strong at strategic storytelling, able to translate complex financial and technical concepts into clear, relatable narratives.
• Experienced in grant and proposal writing, with the ability to craft persuasive documents that support fundraising and partnerships.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple writing projects while meeting deadlines.
• Collaborative, proactive, and aligned with SunFi’s mission to make clean energy accessible, fun, and impactful.
• Bonus: You’ve worked in fintech, SaaS, renewable energy, or other high-value product/service industries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional writing experience, with a strong portfolio that includes SEO content, newsletters, and long-form articles.
• Proven experience in grant writing and proposal development (corporate, nonprofit, or startup environment preferred).
• Strong knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research tools, and content performance tracking.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt writing style across different content formats and audiences.
• Excellent research, organizational, and editing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in clean energy, technology, or high-value product/service industries is a plus.
