Field Opertaions Driver at Deko Integrated and Agro Processing Ltd

We are seeking a reliable and field-experienced Driver to support our agricultural field operations. The role involves transporting the agri-team to and from farm locations and providing mobility support within farm fields and rural terrains. This position is strictly for individuals experienced in agricultural or rural field driving and comfortable with the demands of farm-based operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport agri and field teams to and from project sites and location.
• Support intra-field mobility, including movement across farm blocks, rural roads, and unpaved terrains.
• Ensure proper daily inspection, basic maintenance, and cleanliness of assigned vehicle(s).
• Keep accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, mileage, and minor repairs.
• Assist with field logistics when required (tools, supplies, supervision support).
• Adhere strictly to safety, operational, and organizational guidelines.
• Be available for early starts, extended field hours, and occasional weekend duties when operations demand.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years driving experience, preferably in agricultural, construction, mining, or rural field operations.
• Valid Nigerian Driver’s License.
• Strong experience driving on rural roads, farm terrains, and rough landscapes.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Physically fit and mentally prepared for field-based work conditions.
• Good knowledge of Edo State and surrounding rural routes is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Commercial city-driving experience alone is NOT sufficient for this role.
