Job Summary

• We are looking for a Nigerian Chef to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers, set up menus and preparing high-quality dishes, ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. If you have experience with advanced cooking techniques and non-traditional ingredients, we’d like to meet you.

Job Description

• Food preparation: Plan menus, develop recipes, and ensure food quality
• Food safety: Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Kitchen management: Supervise cooks and other food preparation workers
• Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels and order supplies
• Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
• Food cost control: Assist with food cost control and purchasing
• Menu planning: Create menus for clients and accommodate dietary needs

Personal Skills

• Communication Skills:should have the skill to communicate with other restaurant staff, vendors, and the restaurant's clientele and to communicate their orders clearly and effectively.
• Business skills:should understand the business of restaurant work and should have administrative skills.
• Creativity:must be creativity to develop and prepare interesting and innovative recipes.
• Sense of taste and smell: must have a keen sense of taste and smell in order to inspect food and design meals that will be to customers’ liking.
• Time-management skills:must be able to efficiently manage their time and the time of kitchen staff so that they can keep the kitchen running efficiently.
