    Human Resources (Recruitment & Placement) Specialist

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

    About the Role

    • The Human Resources (Recruitment & Placement) Specialist is responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities which includes researching, screening, interviewing and placing job candidates in various positions within a firm.
    • We are looking to engage an energetic and creative recruitment & placement specialist whose responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications and supporting hiring managers.
    • The Recruitment & Placement specialists are responsible for researching, screening, interviewing and placing job candidates in various positions within a firm.
    • You will perform duties like posting job ads, updating HR database and processing employees requests.
    • You will also be required to create presentations and produce management-level reports.
    • Ultimately, you will gain HR and Management experience in a fast-paced work environment by supporting and improving all HR functions.
    • The position is highly visible and requires someone with a high degree of maturity (not maturity by age).

    Duties and Responsibilities
    The selected applicant will be responsible for all the following:

    • Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans
    • Create and publish job ads in various portals
    • Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees
    • Screen resumes and job applications
    • Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior and executive)
    • Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire
    • Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
    • Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods
    • Host and participate in job fairs
    • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
    • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
    • Facilitate daily administrative and other duties as assigned.

    Requirements
    You will be dealing with both internal colleagues and clients on behalf of the management team. You are also expected to display the following traits:

    • A Degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
    • 2 - 4 years experience
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Well-developed organisational skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Great verbal and written communication skills.
    • Professional discretion - the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
    • Proven work experience as an HR administrative assistant or HR administrator.
    • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge of labor legislation.
    • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
    • Teamwork skills.

    Salary
    N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
