Job Summary

Security personnel are needed for ensuring the safety and security of company staff, visitors, products, and facilities. The role involves active surveillance, accurate record-keeping, and strict access control to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, or damage.

Key Responsibilities1. Surveillance & Monitoring

• Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activities
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises (indoor and outdoor)
• Identify potential security risks and respond promptly
• Report unusual behavior or security breaches immediately

Recording & Documentation

• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
• Record entry and exit details of visitors, staff, and vehicles
• Write detailed incident reports for accidents, theft, or security violations
• Preserve video recordings and evidence when required

Access Control

• Control entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access
• Verify identification of employees, visitors, and contractors
• Issue visitor badges and ensure proper sign-in/sign-out procedures
• Monitor and operate access control systems (e.g., keycards, biometric systems)

Emergency Response

• Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire services, or medical teams when necessary
• Assist in evacuation procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed

Customer Service & Communication

• Provide assistance and directions to visitors and staff
• Maintain a professional and calm demeanor at all times
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma (ND)
• Previous experience in security is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of CCTV and access control systems
• Strong observation and attention to detail
• Good communication and report-writing skills
• Physical fitness
