    Head of Internal Audit, Africa

    • Providing independent assurance over all PZ Cussons Africa operations including Demand; Supply operations; and Support Functions on the effectiveness of risk management and control procedures across the business and to highlight any particular risk areas
    • Develop yearly audit plan covering key business processes, allocate resources to audit assignments and agree plan with GM, Internal Controls.
    • Ensure implementation of the annual Internal Audit Plan and Program in the company.
    • Discuss and develop plan at commencement of specific audit/investigation assignment.
    • Coordinate investigation/audit assignments for on timely delivery of internal audit assignment.
    • Development, review, and update of internal audit programs
    • Team lead for investigations and other special audit assignments.
    • Work with external auditors for smooth running of statutory audit exercise.
    • Present, discuss and agree audit findings and issues with auditees.
    • Identification of business and operational risks, continuous evaluation of the adequacy of existing controls and advising management of necessary action to mitigate identified business/fraud risks
    • Draft audit reports for review and finalisation by the Group Head of Audit at assignments completion.
    • Monitor action taken by management in response to audit work and reviews,
    • Prepare routine reports (key findings of outstanding audit/investigation jobs, Open HR issues, Fraud register) for circulation to management.
    • Conduct compliance transaction/process walkthrough testing including conducting interviews, identifying inter relationships and weaknesses including systems gap
    • Liaise with stakeholders and ensures that lessons learned from audit reviews and fraud investigations are incorporated into relevant policies and procedures

    Factory Electrical/ Instrument Technician

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct the PPM/LLF jobs assigned to him as per the schedule and record then in the respective registers.
    • Carry out the breakdown maintenance which comes up during the production activities on time.
    • Carry out the scheduled calibrations and inspection checks across the plant during the duty time, to maintain a safe working place.
    • Record and communicate all the activities carried out in his duty time in the log registers and to the reliever.
    • Carry out monthly CBM/Thermography activities
    • Generate ideas and participate in the factory CI programs
    • Track and report critical spares availability in the Engineering store
    • Record work order/work permit for all the jobs carried out in the factory and adhere to safety requirements
    • 100% compliance with schedule and non-conformance clearing.
    • The time taken to do the job and ensure it is not getting repeated.
    • Ensure no measurement system is overdue at any point of time, to have reliability.
    • Recording all the activities in the shift and communicating the pending work/important observations.
    • Ensure no time plant is stopped for want of spares.
    •    Ensure safe working and 100% data capturing.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • HND. / BSC. Electrical & other related Engineering courses.
    • Minimum of 2 years work experience

    Factory Mechanical Technician

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To receive, manage and account for all parts and contract jobs.
    • Attend to all mechanical issues in the factory.
    • Generate weekend job for mechanical maintenance.
    • Generate weekly maintenance
    • Raise and follow-up all expenditure forms
    • Participation in Management Systems subscribed to by the department (ISO45001, OHS, ISO14001, EMS, ISO50001, EnMS).
    • Ensure good quality parts and jobs are delivered.
    • Ensure 90% of all weekend maintenance jobs are implemented
    • Ensure full Implementation of maintenance checklist weekly.

    • Report all issues related to ISO 14000 and full implementation of  90% action generated.

    • Up to date stock level of consumables and critical spares.
    • Zero LTI must be maintained in the plant, and bi-weekly pep talk attendance.
    • Ensure equipment availability, and delivery parameters as required, to maintain good product quality in the factories.

    Key Account Manager - East and South

    Job Purpose:

    Learning & Development Supervisor

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support collation of training plans across the Group, sourcing of Vendors and implementation of training plans.
    • Manage the Performance Management Process by ensuring the objectives and appraisals are completed on the system in alignment with global timelines.
    • Support the recruitment and management of training vendors, review training contents, and ensure training logistics are made available as required.
    • Liaises with ITF in the registration of trainings, documentation, and application for reimbursements. Minimum reimbursement of 70% training contribution yearly
    • Post-training evaluation, preparation of training reports and submission to relevant stakeholders.
    • Manage the selection, placement and engagement of interns. Assess their development and evaluate their progress with supervisors.
