Production Operator at PZ Cussons

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Account for hourly line production output.
• Support operations in conformance to machine/line strike rate.
• Attend daily/shift Safety pep talk.
• Correctly fill the Supervisor shift hand over Log Sheet.
• Confirm and ensure correct date codes are printed on products.
• Ensure good Quality products are produced always.
• Ensure all Quality Improvements activities are executed {CAPA}.
• Deliver shift/daily and weekly planned deliveries.
• Support supervisor to minimize sectional waste level {MUV}.
• Conform to agreed shift/sectional overtime
• Monitor, Minimize and ensure sectional waste management is under agreed limits.
• Monitor compliance to use of agreed personal Protective Equipment on the line.
• Monitor and report promptly the critical risk issues.
• Comport self in manner representing PZ Cussons ‘BEST’ values.
• General co-ordination of the section. Co-operate effectively with other team members.
• Support PPM activities in junction with production technicians.
• Maintain good sectional Housekeeping, 5S, GMP, and safety standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• ND/HND/BSC. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology/Microbiology, SLT, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering & all Engineering related courses.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in related field.
• Very good computer skills (especially Excel, word, power-point, and access packages)
• Strong communication skills.
• Very good in handling numbers/figures.
• Ability to spot improvement opportunities fast.
• Good time management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong technical skill
