    Senior Digital Sales Strategist, Pulse Sports

    Job Summary

    • Pulse Sports is looking for a Senior Digital Sales Strategist to join our Sport team in Nigeria who will drive revenue growth by developing and pitching winning creative digital strategies for clients to solve their business challenges and aid them in achieving their marketing goals and objectives.
    • You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities to sell our digital product portfolio and services.
    • Our Senior Digital Strategists drive commercial opportunities among top brands by prospecting, nurturing leads, and networking with customers and client-side decision-makers to close deals.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Identify business opportunities and develop effective strategies to approach and pitch our solutions and capabilities.
    • Contribute to team effort by establishing high-level contacts and ensuring that the defined sales process is followed.
    • Close deals and work towards set targets, ultimately positively impacting the company's revenues.
    • Manage client relationships and provide customers with excellent service and support.
    • Work with the project execution teams to ensure customer goals are achieved.
    • Continuously engage customers and client-side decision-makers to maintain close relationships to identify upsell, resell, and new business opportunities.
    • Develop strategies and processes for internal use to strengthen our market presence and market share further.
    • Manage fluid communication and processes across teams with a focus on the AccountManagement department.
    • Contribute to team learning sessions and knowledge sharing on an ongoing basis in the Nigerian team and also pan-Africa
    • Stay up to date on the latest trends, industry issues, and solutions, be aware of competitive activity in the market and with clients, and help to ensure Pulse is always innovating with great client solutions.

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • A Degree in Communications or Marketing, or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales or business development in Sports Media/Advertising industries required.
    • A creative thinker who can connect 360° digital to all aspects of a client’s business and drive growth opportunities.
    • Experience with sales with Sports Media Platforms and a great network of Sports Media industry is mandatory.
    • Detailed understanding of social media networks and media marketing methods
    • Excellent networking skills and a demonstrated ability in key client/partner relationship management
    • An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, start-up environment with dynamic business priorities.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with Zoho CRM is desirable.
    • Portfolio of previous marketing projects.

    Graphics Designer

    Job Description

    • Pulse is seeking an experienced Graphics Designer to join the team. 
    • As a Graphic Designer will be responsible to interpret client requirements into engaging designs and also bring creativity and fresh ideas to our online marketing efforts by creating impressive visuals that attractattention on-brands.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with Clients/Account Managers to produce great designs.
    • Create designs and layouts with high visual impact that will appeal to our audience across the various Pulse platforms/channels.
    • Quality control of designs and layouts including proofreading for spelling and grammar.
    • Gather information and data for design briefs through research and demonstrate illustrative skills withrough sketches.
    • You may be required to manage more than one brief at a time and will have to allocate the relevant amount of time according to the value of the job - ensuring that deadlines are met on all design projects.
    • Responsibility for securing appropriate rights, licenses and clearances for image usage to avoid copyright infringement.
    • Participate in team brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas.
    • Work with a wide range of media, including photography and interactive design.
    • Ensure the proper organisation and backup of graphic design work.
    • Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media and keep up to date with design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and other relevant software from the Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Maintain strong, trusting relationships with all internal and external collaborators - clients and internal teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in graphic design or relevant fields
    • Motion graphics proficiency
    • Solid understanding of design principles and practices
    • A good understanding of UI/UX design
    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe XD and After Effects
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Very organised with strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
    • Minimum 2 years of graphic design experience and a strong portfolio.
