    General Manager

    Our client, a recreation theme park is looking for a General Manager who will be responsible for the overall management, strategic leadership, and operational performance of the organisation.

    The successful candidate will effectively function as the operational head of the organisation with responsibility for overseeing daily operations, driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency, implementing restructuring initiatives, managing stakeholders, and ensuring the long-term sustainability and profitability of the park.

    The role is highly strategic as the successful candidate will be expected to independently manage and oversee park operations with minimal supervision when required.

    Responsibilities

    • Overseeing all operational departments including security, maintenance, landscaping, guest services, ticketing, events, and facility management
    • Driving revenue growth across admissions, events, rentals, concessions, sponsorships, and partnerships
    • Implementing operational restructuring and improvement initiatives
    • Developing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Managing budgets, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency
    • Building and leading a disciplined, high-performing management team
    • Managing relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, regulators, and key stakeholders
    • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational standards
    • Delivering excellent customer experience and service standards.

    • Ability to manage.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 6 years of experience preferrable experience in one or more of the following; Hospitality and Hotels, Theme Parks and Recreation, Shopping Malls, Mixed-Use Developments, Facility Management, Real Estate and Property Management & Airports and Large Public Facilities
    • Degree in Business Admistration, Hospitality Management or similar discipline.
    • Experience managing distributed teams is a strong advantage.
