Programs Intern at RIO Foundation

Job Summary

The Programs Intern will provide administrative and operational support to the Programs Team. This role is designed to offer hands-on experience in NGO program implementation, monitoring, reporting, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing program activities.
• Support data collection, entry, and analysis for ongoing projects.
• Support with preparing reports, presentations, and program documentation.
• Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and community events.
• Conduct basic research and compile background information for proposals.
• Support field visits and beneficiary engagement when required.
• Perform general administrative duties for the Programs Team.
• Maintain program files and records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate or recent graduate in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Education, or a related field.
• Strong interest in the non-profit / development sector.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
