    Sales Supervisor (Modern Trade) - FMCG

    Job Profile:

    Ensure effective supervision of achievement of sales, distribution and merchandising targets through effective planning, leading and controlling daily activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieve sales target including volume, value and any other quantitative target set by management (sales, collection and product targets). 
    • Monitor Customers’ stocks level regularly and ensure its compliance with company’s stock coverage policy.
    • Stock management by supervising and control of request, transfers, return, stock taking and reconciliation.
    • Provide monthly stock reports and expiry details.
    • Monitor the placement of Point of Purchase (P.O.P) at outlets as per the management’s instructions.
    • Continuously review competitive activities at the marketplace, the daily sales routes and updating them upon prospecting any new customers.
    • Report of daily, weekly and monthly sales routes and collections.
    • Monitor the implementation of the desired distribution targets of products.
    • Customer service management by developing relationship with key customers.
    • Managing all promotional activities by planning, budgeting, co-coordinating, implementing, evaluating and ensuring feedback.
    • Debt management by ensuring collection within credit period and debtor ledgers reconciled with aging.

    Requirements

    • A Degree with emphasis on marketing or business.
    • Excellent English and good computer skills.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft with emphasis on Word and Excel
    • Good communication and Interpersonal skill
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in an FMCG company
    • Honest, aggressive, dynamic and a team player
    • Excellent selling skills, including closing ability, strong negotiation, as well as excellent people skills.
    • Ability to multi-task

    General Accountant FMCG - 2 positions

Every year, 4 billion products from our client are consumed throughout the African continent. Our client is actively present in Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, CIS Republics, 30 countries in Africa and the Middle East.

    They currently have an opening for General Accountant (x2) - Accra

    The ideal candidate must understand: General Accounting and Tax, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Audits, reporting and annual financial statements.

    Requirements
    General Accounting and Tax

    • Post the general ledger and cash accounting entries, thereby compensating according to the type of payment/collection to ensure that the accounting reflects the economic operations. The related transactions but not exhaustive are: Travel expenses, Prepaid expenses, Operating expenses (rental fees, energy (electricity, fuel & gas and water supply costs, etc.)
    • Organize the filing of the supporting documents, Manage the petty cash (ensure the postings of all the transactions on a timely basis and work in accordance with the procedures in place)
    • Prepare and pay for the various taxes and social security charges, ensuring correct credit of the same in all managed companies.
    • Ensure that all the taxes are declared and paid on time.
    • Be aware of all the tax risks and work accordingly. Report all the relevant tax issues identified systematically to the direct report.
    • Prepare and control the inter-company invoices and accounts to adjust the internal billing situation of services between companies of our client.
    • Reconcile on a monthly basis the inter- company accounts, Review all the differences noted and liaise with Corporate team.
    • Post all the relating adjustments.

    Accounts Payable

    • Vendor Invoices reception (different flows), Posting for payment: validating the invoice with the Purchase Orders, Initiate workflows for invoice differences / inconsistences / formalities, Invoice archive.
    • Follow up of open purchase orders, and vendors accounts.
    • Accounting for payment: supporting document validation, and posting
    • Technical support to procurement department (PO treatment), Authorization workflows maintenance.
    • Control the account balances of customers/suppliers to ensure the correct status thereof.
    • Prepare accounts analysis on a monthly basis, Prepare the balance confirmation for the top 10 suppliers. Post adjustments on a timely basis.
    • Handle inquiries from internal and external customers regarding the billing generated and guarantee the validity of the information.
    • Be proactive on the suppliers requests. Provide answers to suppliers inquiries on a timely basis. If necessary, report all the relevant issues to the direct report.
    • Cash flow management, Prepare all the financial needs of the company on a weekly basis, Prepare a cash flow analysis (weekly and monthly analysis)
    • Ensure that funds available are sufficient enough to cover the needs identified and Communicate with the direct report the analysis designed as per the tools in place.

    Treasury

    • Banking map and banking pool, Financial facilities management (M&A, CapEx and Working capital).
    • Cash-management; daily position and forecast.
    • Payment management, Online banking management.
    • Financial cost management and reporting, Management of bank accounts, Reconcile all the bank accounts on a monthly basis.
    • Ensure that all the transactions on the bank statements are correctly booked (accuracy and completeness).
    • Ensure that all the outstanding items are investigated and duly adjusted.
    • Make all the cheques deposit on the bank accounts, Make all the cash withdrawal for the petty cash replenishment
    • In collaboration with Corporate team, ensure the relationship with the local bank, Make the follow up of all the payments done
    • Audits, reporting and annual financial statements
    • Audits and tax inspections, Participate in all the audits (internal and external) and tax inspections under the supervision of the direct report.
    • Be available to provide support to the direct report during audits and tax inspections, Ensure that all the documents and the information communicated to auditors/ tax inspectors have been priory validated by the direct report.
    • Finance reporting: Participate to the work on the Group reporting, Give the inputs needed on a timely basis, In collaboration with the direct report, contact Corporate team and coordinate with them for any issue.
    • Establishment of the annual financial statements: In collaboration with the direct report, prepare the financial statements and all the required annual documents to be sent to the tax administration Liaise with the tax advisors to ensure that the income tax is accurate and duly booked.
