    Investment Analyst

    Job Summary:

    The Investment Analyst serves as the critical link between investors and investees, focusing on sourcing, mobilizing, and matching investors with viable opportunities. This role also involves facilitating due diligence, ensuring the completion of investment transactions, and supporting deal room operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement an investor sourcing and engagement strategy aligned with ITFD goals.
    • Identify and profile investors based on ticket sizes, risk appetites, and sectoral preferences.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with local and international investors, including DFIs and private equity firms.
    • Match investors with suitable investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with criteria.
    • Conduct financial modeling, risk assessment, and feasibility studies for prospective deals.
    • Provide comprehensive support during due diligence, ensuring adherence to regulatory and financial standards.
    • Coordinate deal room activities, including presentations, Q&A sessions, and negotiations.
    • Monitor investment trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes impacting the investment landscape.
    • Prepare detailed investment memorandums and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Facilitate post-investment activities, including performance tracking and stakeholder reporting.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, or a related field; CFA/CAIA certification is a plus.
    • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and due diligence experience.
    • Exceptional organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

    Deal Sourcing Specialist

    Job Summary:

    The Deal Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying and assessing high-potential investment opportunities across diverse sectors. This role involves creating a robust pipeline of investable projects, onboarding opportunities into ITFD\'s portfolio, and developing strategic partnerships to ensure a steady flow of high-quality deals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify, assess, and onboard investment opportunities that align with ITFD’s focus sectors and value chains.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover emerging investment opportunities.
    • Develop detailed profiles for potential deals, including financial and operational assessments.
    • Categorize and prioritize deals based on ticket sizes, investment criteria, and sectoral focus.
    • Manage and maintain data rooms, ensuring accessibility and accuracy for due diligence.
    • Draft, negotiate, and finalize engagement letters, NDAs, and other relevant agreements.
    • Build and maintain relationships with business owners, operators, and stakeholders to grow the deal pipeline.
    • Identify and secure interest from offtakers and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
    • Monitor deal performance and provide periodic updates and reports to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with the Trade Analyst to align sourcing with trade objectives and supplier capacities.
    • Participate in promotional events, webinars, and conferences to enhance deal visibility.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience in deal sourcing, investment profiling, or portfolio management.
    • Strong understanding of financial metrics and investment analysis.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems, data management tools, and market research software.
