    Supply and Store Manager

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Supply and Store Officer is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of school supplies and materials. The officer ensures proper inventory control, timely procurement support, and efficient management of the school store to maintain uninterrupted operations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming supplies and materials.
    • Ensure proper storage and safekeeping of items in the store.
    • Issue materials and supplies to authorized staff and departments.
    • Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
    • Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder requests when necessary.
    • Conduct periodic stock taking and inventory reconciliation.
    • Ensure proper labeling, arrangement, and cleanliness of the store.
    • Prepare and maintain supply and inventory reports.
    • Monitor the movement of supplies to prevent loss, theft, or damage.
    • Coordinate with procurement vendors and suppliers when required.
    • Ensure compliance with school policies and inventory procedures.
    • Maintain proper documentation for all store transactions.
    • Assist in verifying delivered goods against purchase orders and invoices.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Educational Qualification

    • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or supply operations.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Good record-keeping and inventory management skills.
    • Basic knowledge of procurement and supply procedures.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and under supervision.

    • Honest and trustworthy.
    • Responsible and organized.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Physically fit to handle store activities where necessary.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Full-time position.
    • Work may involve lifting and arranging supplies within the store.
