We are seeking to engage a competent and result-oriented Finance Manager to oversee and strengthen its financial operations.

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s financial planning, budgeting, costing, reporting, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate must possess strong manufacturing finance experience with extensive knowledge of product costing, inventory management, and financial controls within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Oversee product costing, cost analysis, and cost control activities.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and production variances.
• Ensure accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with regulatory authorities.
• Develop and implement effective internal control systems.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decisions.
• Supervise finance and accounting staff to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 - 15 years relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing company.
• Extensive experience in costing and manufacturing finance is mandatory.
• MBA, Professional qualification such as Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA/ACA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, or other relevant professional certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be an added advantage.
