Travel and Tour Consultant at NeGxy Concept Limited

At NeGxy Travels, we help our clients plan and execute the perfect travel itinerary, from family vacations to romantic getaways. We seek a sharp, knowledgeable travel consultant to make our clients’ dreams a reality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel and understand the complex logistics involved in crafting itineraries. Our consultant should be great communicators, with an ability to take a client’s request and build their desired travel package — all while navigating language barriers, time zones, and currency exchange rates.

Responsibilities:

Client Consultation and Advisory:

• Attend to enquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and in person.
• Understand client travel needs and recommend suitable destinations and packages.
• Provide accurate information on visa requirements and travel guidelines. 
• Build and maintain positive relationships with tourism organizations, including hotels, restaurants, tour vendors, and event-ticketing companies.

• Work with clients to make last-minute changes or updates to their itinerary.
• Stay up to date on the latest travel industry news and trends, such as cultural events and emergency situations.

Visa Processing and Documentation:

• Assist clients in preparing and submitting visa applications!
• Review documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Guide clients on interview preparation where necessary

Booking and Reservations:

Tour arrangements

• Confirm all travel details and ensure proper documentation. 
• Follow up with clients on payments and confirmations.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

• Convert enquiries into paying clients. 
• Promote available travel packages and special offers. 
• Meet assigned sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Maintain good relationships with clients. 
• Follow up before and after travel.
• Handle complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Record keeping and reporting. 

Compliance and Professional Conduct:

• Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures. 
• Maintain confidentiality of client information 
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor`s Degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality,International Relations, or a related field.
• Strong Knowledge of visa application application procedures for major countries (e.g, UK,USA,Canada,Schegen.
• Familiarity with GDS booking system. (e.g Amadeus,Sabre) and CRM tool in an advantage.
• 3–5 years of travel agent experience in both agency and corporate settings across multiple industries
• Strong communication and sales skills
• Familiarity with the latest travel trends, including popular vacation locations and activities.
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Understanding of foreign and domestic travel requirements or restrictions
