Content Operations Specialist at VMAX Tea & Coffee Ltd

Job Summary

We are looking for a Content Operations Specialist based in Lagos to support local content growth for short-video commerce. The role will track Nigerian market trends, plan localized content topics, coordinate scripts, shooting schedules, creators, suppliers, and internal teams, and improve content performance through regular review.

Key Responsibilities

• Research local trends, consumer interests, social media topics, and competitor content in Nigeria.
• Develop weekly content plans for short videos, including topic selection, script direction, shooting priorities, and posting schedule.
• Coordinate creators, presenters, editors, product teams, and supply chain resources to ensure smooth content delivery.
• Review published content performance and identify reasons for high or low GMV contribution.
• Manage content materials, scripts, product information, and version updates in an organized way.
• Support content testing, repurposing, and optimization based on audience feedback and sales data.
• Ensure content is culturally appropriate for the Nigerian market and consistent with brand guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience in content operations, social media, short video, e-commerce, or creator management.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian online consumer behavior, social platforms, and local trends.
• Good writing, coordination, and project follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working with data such as views, engagement, conversion, and GMV.
• Fluent English communication skills; knowledge of major local languages is an advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple content tasks daily.
