    Executive Assistant

    Job Description

    This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer. We’re excited to have you join us on this adventure!

    Requirements

    • Build agendas, take meeting notes, manage CEO’s schedules to maximize productivity, draft all hands notes & investor updates
    • Attend team meetings and track action items, assist with day-to-day projects, help build and improve processes and systems
    • Organize team offsites (virtual and in person)
    • Assist with creating C-suite presentations and external client documents
    • Creating and leading team morale events (happy hours, coffee chats, etc)
    • Support communications for an engaged and meaningful hybrid company culture
    • Coordinate and schedule business travel when applicable
    • Maintain strict confidentiality
    • Coordinate with recruiting to ensure interviews are scheduled in a timely manner
    • Create, organize and maintain team mailing lists, folders, drives
    • Serve as a technical lead for, and manager of, small projects

     

    • Strong knowledge of Google Suite

    Finance Officer

    Job Description

    We are looking for a Finance Officer to establish operational excellence across our finance function, implementing a coherent financial strategy. You will be a part of our small (for now!) Finance team, responsible for all things money at Shutterscore, including financial and management reporting, taxation, cash management, and treasury. You will partner with our leadership team to provide insight and drive commercial outcomes. You will help identify opportunities and risks and continually strive to improve systems and processes.

    Role responsibilities:

    • Track critical success metrics; identify key opportunities and challenges and collaborate with the business to address them
    • Manage our accounting and reporting processes, and oversee our responsibilities with month-end and quarter-end closes
    • Be a part of the drive for the development and management of our financial modelling and forecasting; manage and track the budgets and performance of assigned P&L accounts
    • Find and drive process improvement opportunities across teams
    • Work closely with the leadership team on strategy, roadmap and targets for the business, and advise on market opportunities and prioritisation decisions
    • Liaise with our investors, vendors and business partners on investment round collateral, key financial deliverables and other ad hoc requests

    Our ideal candidate will have:

    • An understanding of and interest in the crypto space
    • Experience of working in a start-up environment

    Software Engineering Manager

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    • Drives the technical vision and evolution of the applications owned by the team.

    • Leads and grows a diverse & prolific software development team through a combination of training, career development, recruiting, and process improvement.

    • Leads architectural and design discussions to help the team build highly scalable and available applications.
    • Works with Product Managers, Product Designers, QA, and other multi-functional teams to drive the vision, prioritize work, and set the roadmap for the team.

    Qualifications
    Preferred Qualifications:

    • B.Sc Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
    • Strong understanding of concepts that relate to web application performance, scalability, security, and observability

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of technical experience, including 2+ years in an engineering leadership role.
    • Understanding of NestJS and React, Dev Ops and PHP
    • Experience shipping and maintaining production web applications at scale.
    • Strong partner and communicator with the ability to articulate the team vision and technical concepts to multi-functional partners.
    • Ability to write documentation and communicate technical topics with clarity across multiple teams, disciplines, and stakeholders.
    • Ability to make decisions in ambiguous, high-pressure situations and a fast-paced environment with constantly evolving business needs.
    • Self-learner who has the ability to identify root causes and drive solutions to highly complex problems.
    • Exhibits ability to motivate others, driving influence and high output from the team.
    • Has experience managing engineers and is passionate about coaching, mentoring, and growing the careers of the team.
    • Experience prioritizing, compromising, and managing simultaneous requests and workstreams across multiple domains.

    Salary
    NGN500,000 - NGN700,000 / Month.
