Job Summary

CashXpress Nigeria Limited is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Financial Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, regulatory compliance, financial planning, taxation, and reporting functions. The ideal candidate must possess strong experience within the financial services or fintech industry and demonstrate deep knowledge of international taxation, financial policies, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, revenue projections, and financial performance metrics.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• Lead and manage all tax-related activities, including corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and international taxation matters.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient structures and strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, financial regulations, and fintech compliance requirements.

Policy & Risk Management

• Develop, review, and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk management frameworks.
• Support corporate governance and compliance initiatives.
• Identify financial risks and provide mitigation strategies.

Business & Strategic Support

• Support business expansion initiatives with financial analysis and feasibility studies.
• Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company growth objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CFA, or CPA are mandatory.
• Minimum of 5–8 years proven experience in a Financial Institution, FinTech company, Microfinance Bank, Digital Lending company, or related financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of international taxation, transfer pricing, cross-border financial regulations, and financial policy management.
• Experience working with financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in financial management systems, Microsoft Excel, and ERP software.
