Accountant at a Sports & Fitness Company

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate and timely financial documentation for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Work with management to provide financial insights for decision-making

Requirements:

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (ICAN/ATS) is an added advantage
• Previous experience as an accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, especially QuickBooks
• Ability to use QuickBooks accounting software confidently for bookkeeping, reporting, and reconciliation
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
