Treasury Sales Officer at Fund Quest Finance Company

The Officer will drive strategic treasury, liquidity, and financial risk management initiatives to ensure sustainable growth of the company’s treasury portfolio. The role focuses on deposit mobilisation, liquidity planning, optimal pricing and tenor management, portfolio diversification, and risk mitigation, while maintaining efficiency and competitiveness in funds management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & COMPETENCIES

Fund Mobilisation & Liquidity Management

• Mobilise funds from individuals and corporates to meet liquidity requirements.
• Forecast cash flows and funding needs to prevent liquidity gaps.
• Identify new markets and grow the deposit base.

Relationship & Advisory Management

• Build and maintain strong client and counterparty relationships.
• Provide treasury advisory support to clients and Management.
• Conduct proper KYC and ensure compliance in onboarding.

Funds & Pricing Management

• Manage portfolio repricing and rebalancing to optimise returns and control concentration risk.
• Monitor Weighted Average Cost of Borrowings (WAC) within approved limits.
• Benchmark rates and recommend profitable investment of excess liquidity.

Financial Risk Management

• Prevent over-dependence on single funding sources.
• Implement hedging and other risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor market trends and adjust treasury strategy accordingly.

Product & Market Intelligence

• Maintain strong knowledge of treasury products and market trends.
• Conduct competitive analysis to inform pricing and product positioning.
