    Talent Manager

    Objective/ Purpose of Job

    • The Talent Manager will play a key role in overseeing the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent for our company . This role involves ensuring that the company's workforce is equipped with the necessary technical skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities to drive operational excellence. The Talent Manager will lead strategic initiatives in talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, and succession planning to support our company’s growth objectives.

    Requirements 

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in talent management, preferably within agribusiness or a production environment in a multinational corporation.
    • Strong knowledge of recruitment, learning & development, and performance management systems.
    • Proven experience in managing a diverse workforce, including technical, operational, and managerial roles.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Experience with HR systems and data analytics for people management.

    Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition:

    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled talent for technical, production, and managerial roles.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and source candidates with expertise in agribusiness and soybean oil production.
    • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.

    Learning & Development:

    • Design and implement training programs to build technical capabilities in oil production, maintenance, and quality control.
    • Foster a continuous learning environment through leadership development and employee training programs.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments to align with production and business goals.

    Performance Management:

    • Develop and implement performance evaluation systems to ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Support managers in setting and reviewing performance goals, providing constructive feedback, and creating personal development plans for employees.

    Succession Planning:

    • Identify and develop a talent pipeline to ensure the availability of key roles for business continuity.
    • Work with senior management to identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans.

    Employee Engagement & Retention:

    • Implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retain key talent.
    • Conduct regular employee surveys, monitor morale, and develop action plans to address areas of concern.
    • Promote a positive workplace culture that aligns with the values and goals of the agribusiness.

    Compliance & HR Best Practices:

    • Ensure HR policies and procedures are in compliance with labor laws and aligned with company standards.
    • Collaborate with local HR and legal teams to handle employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary actions.

    Knowledge:

    • HR Management Practices: In-depth understanding of talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
    • Labor Laws & Compliance: Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations in the agribusiness sector.
    • Agribusiness Industry: Knowledge of the agribusiness value chain, particularly in soybean oil production, including key operational and technical roles.
    • Workforce Planning: Understanding of workforce needs in production environments and the ability to align HR strategies with business goals.
    • HR Information Systems (HRIS): Experience using HR technology and systems for tracking employee data, performance, and learning & development.

    Skills:

    • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Ability to identify and attract skilled talent, particularly for technical and operational roles in production.
    • Leadership & Development: Strong skills in creating and implementing employee development programs that foster continuous learning and career growth.
    • Performance Management: Expertise in designing and managing performance appraisal systems to evaluate and improve employee contributions.
    • Employee Engagement: Skilled in designing strategies to improve employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills for using HR data and metrics to inform decision-making, improve processes, and measure the success of HR initiatives.
    • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to communicate clearly with employees, managers, and senior leadership. Skilled in handling employee relations and resolving conflicts.
    • Project Management: Ability to manage HR projects, from implementation to tracking and assessing outcomes.
