    Sales Operations Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing sales activities to drive revenue growth and market penetration for the company’s table water products. This role ensures effective route-to-market execution, distributor management, sales performance tracking, pricing discipline, and alignment between sales, production, and distribution.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement sales operational plans aligned with business targets and production capacity.
    • Translate sales targets into actionable daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans for field teams.
    • Ensure optimal product availability across all sales outlets and territories.
    • Design and manage effective distribution routes for bottled water.
    • Coordinate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely deliveries.
    • Monitor distributor, wholesaler, and retailer coverage to eliminate stock-outs.
    • Track and analyze sales volumes, territory performance, and market coverage.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
    • Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
    • Supervise sales supervisors, field sales representatives, and distributors.
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales staff.
    • Enforce sales discipline, ethical selling practices, and performance standards.
    • Ensure compliance with approved pricing and discount structures.
    • Support the execution of promotions, trade incentives, and market activations.
    • Gather market intelligence on competitors’ pricing, routes, and sales tactics.
    • Liaise with production, finance, and supply chain teams to align demand and supply.
    • Support credit control and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments where applicable.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in sales operations or field sales management, preferably in FMCG or table water manufacturing.
    • Strong understanding of informal and formal distribution channels.
