    Sales Agent (Oil Palm)

    Job Description

    • We are looking for Sales Agent (Oil Palm) that will support and promote our business in West African countries .
    • You will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
    • Contact potential customers through phone calls and emails
    • Determine customer needs and offer product or service solutions and support
    • Deliver customized, targeted sales strategies
    • Close sales and lead customer through the purchasing process
    • Meet all quotas for inside and outside sales
    • Maintain a record of calls through our computerized system
    • Create and maintain a database of prospective clients

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field, MBA Marketing prefered.
    • 2+ years of sales experience preferred with a demonstrated successful sales record
    • Experience in sales.
    • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
    • A commitment to excellent customer service.
    • High school degree or equivalent; bachelor’s degree a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
    • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
    • Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
    • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce experience
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics of oil palm in West African countries, and also superb interpersonal skills.
    • Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.We prefer candidates who have at least two years of sales experience and a solid history of closing sales, but we are willing to train the right person.

    Technical Skills:

    • Generating leads.
    • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
    • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
    • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
    • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
    • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
    • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
    • Understanding and promoting company programs.
    • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
    • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
    • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
    • Maintaining client records.
    • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
