    Human Resources Officer

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR professional to fill a Short-Term role for 3- 6 months, HR Officer with a focus on Document Control.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for championing document control processes within the HR department, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained, organized, and compliant with organizational policies.
    • This role will provide an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations and document management.

    Key Responsibilities
    Document Control:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust document control system to ensure all HR documents are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible.
    • Ensure proper filing, storage, and retrieval of HR documents, both physical and digital.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with document control procedures.

    HR Support:

    • Assist the HR team with various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
    • Provide support in maintaining employee records, preparing reports, and managing HR databases.
    • Assist in coordinating HR initiatives and programs.

    Compliance:

    • Ensure all HR documents and processes comply with organizational policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
    • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations that may impact HR processes.

    Process Improvement:

    • Identify areas for improvement in document control and HR processes and recommend solutions.
    • Collaborate with the HR team to implement process improvements and best practices.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare reports on document control activities, HR metrics, and compliance status.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve HR processes and document management.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in HR or document control, preferably in a similar industry.

    Skills:

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in document control.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum) and HR systems.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
    • Certification in HR or document control (e.g., CIPM) is an advantage.
    • Experience with HR software and systems (e.g., payroll, employee management systems).
