Job Summary

• We seek a skilled and passionate Critical and Reasoning Skills teacher to join our academic team.
• The teacher will help students think, ask good questions, solve problems, and make smart decisions.

Responsibilities

• Teach students how to think, reason, and solve problems
• Plan lessons that build logic, analysis, and good judgment
• Ask open-ended questions to help students express their thoughts
• Give classwork, assignments, and tests to check understanding
• Encourage students to think independently and learn from mistakes
• Keep records of student progress
• Work with other teachers and support school programs

Requirements
Education:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy
• TRCN certification or proof of registration is an advantage

Experience:

• At least 3 years of teaching experience in related subjects
• Experience teaching logic, comprehension, or critical thinking is helpful
• Being a WAEC/NECO examiner is an added advantage.

Skills:

• Strong thinking and communication skills
• Ability to guide class discussions and activities
• Patient and encouraging in helping students develop ideas
• Good classroom management and organisation
• Ability to make lessons fun and meaningful

Other Requirements:

• Must be passionate about helping students grow in thinking and confidence
• Must be available to resume at the start of the new academic term
• Must be willing to follow school policies and contribute to student growth
