Mathematics and Further maths Teacher at Majesty Schools

We are seeking a knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated Mathematics & Further Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, preparing students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO, and JAMB), and fostering strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Further Mathematics lessons in line with the Nigerian curriculum.
• Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and other external examinations.
• Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials.
• Assess students through classwork, assignments, tests, and examinations, and maintain accurate academic records.
• Identify students who need additional support and provide remedial instruction where necessary.
• Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment that promotes effective learning.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and technology to enhance student understanding.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development programmes.
• Carry out other academic duties assigned by the school management.

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), or B.Sc. in Mathematics or a related field with a teaching qualification.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Further Mathematics at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian curriculum and examination requirements (WAEC, NECO, and JAMB).
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire students and achieve strong academic results.
• Basic computer literacy is an added advantage.
