Primary School Science Teacher at Majesty Schools

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Primary School Science Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a love for science. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, hands-on science lessons that develop pupils’ curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while supporting their overall academic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations using safe teaching practices.
• Encourage scientific inquiry, observation, and critical thinking among pupils.
• Assess pupils’ progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and science resources.
• Create a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom and laboratory environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils.
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behaviour.
• Communicate pupils’ progress and areas for improvement to parents and school management.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and other school activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), or B.Sc. in a Science-related field with a teaching qualification.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience, preferably at the primary school level.
• Strong knowledge of primary science concepts and the Nigerian curriculum.
• Ability to conduct simple science experiments safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
• Basic computer literacy is an added advantage.
