Art and Crafts Teacher (Primary & Secondary School) at Majesty Schools

We are looking for a creative, passionate, and skilled Art and Crafts Teacher to teach pupils and students across the primary and secondary sections. The successful candidate will inspire creativity, develop artistic skills, and encourage self-expression through engaging art lessons and practical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art and Crafts lessons for primary and secondary school learners.
• Teach drawing, painting, sketching, sculpture, crafts, design, and other visual art techniques.
• Encourage creativity, innovation, and artistic appreciation.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and practical activities in line with the school curriculum.
• Assess students’ work and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize and display students’ artwork during exhibitions, competitions, and school events.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized art classroom and ensure proper use of art materials and equipment.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and creativity.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, extracurricular activities, and professional development.

Requirements

• Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed., HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Creative Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a primary and/or secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of art techniques, creative design, and practical art instruction.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.
• Ability to integrate creativity with modern teaching methods.
• Basic computer literacy is an added advantage.
