Qualities

• Proficient command of the English, Kanuri and Hausa languages

Job summary

• Set up of complaints mechanisms for beneficiaries as accountability measure
• Deliver risk education to at-risk group
• Collect and maintain project data ensuring the highest standards of data protection and confidentiality;
• Provide functional and administrative support in implementing participatory approaches, needs assessments, monitoring and reporting
• Establish good working relationships with members of the community 
• Develop clear work plans on a weekly and monthly basis
• Ensure management of individual cases and appropriate documentation and filling including inputted in kobo tool

Keys skills

• Demonstrate basic competency in Microsoft office package
• Excellent presentation and writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Fluency in the English Language both written and spoken is required and ability to interact in Hausa and Kanuri languages (written and oral)
• Proven work experience in multicultural environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Counselling, Education, Development Studies or relevant equivalent discipline
• Ability to work independently and work with a team;
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills
• Strong facilitation skills, ability to deliver awareness messages
