The MERL Officer will lead the organisation's monitoring, evaluation, research and learning functions by designing MEL frameworks and data collection tools, coordinating assessments, ensuring data quality, analysing qualitative and quantitative data, producing performance and stakeholder reports, documenting lessons learned, and promoting evidence-based and adaptive programming.
Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in Sociology, Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies or a related field, with at least four (4) years' relevant experience in the development sector.
Applicants should have strong data analysis, research, report writing and knowledge management skills, with proficiency in Excel, Epi-Info, NVivo or AI-enabled reporting tools.
