    Personal Assistant/Secretary To The MD

    WE ARE URGENTLY SEEKING TO HIRE AN Accountant/Admin Officer FOR ONE OF OUR CLIENTS.

    Job Description

    • To provide an efficient and responsive administrative, organisational, and logistical service to the MD, helping her to manage and prioritize her time.
    • He/she will be responsible for providing full secretarial assistance to the management team during absences to ensure a high level of service is maintained. This position will be of key importance within the organization and the successful candidate must have previous secretarial and administrative experience within a fast-paced customer facing environment.
    • He/she will be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively plan and organise workload as well as the initiative to resolve issues quickly in an appropriate manner in the absence of the MD.

    Main duties

    • Manage and maintain the MD’s diary and email account.
    • Filter emails, highlight urgent correspondence and print attachments.
    • Organise inbound emails into the appropriate folders and any relevant information to be copied into the correct file on the hard drive.
    • Respond to emails as much as possible, dealing with appointments, requiring Bio or photos etc.
    • Ensure busy diary commitments, papers and travel arrangements are managed effectively including producing a daily folder with diary, necessary papers etc. and troubleshooting problems.
    • Conduct weekly diary meetings with the MD to discuss upcoming engagements, invitations and other requests.
    • Coordinate travel and accommodation requirements in connection with others and ensure arrangements in place for the MD match his requirements.
    • Filter general information, queries, phone calls and invitations to the MD by redirecting or taking forward such contact as appropriate.
    • Ensure the MD is fully briefed on customers’ requests at all times and any other engagements she is involved in. Keep and maintain an accurate record of papers and electronic correspondence on behalf of the MD.
    • Prepare correspondence on behalf of the MD, including the drafting of general replies.
    • Minute general meetings as required and complete research on behalf of the MD.
    • Proper keeping and retrieve of files.
    • Ensure guests meeting with the MD are well taken care of.
    • Provide a service that is in line with the MD’s work habits and preferences

    Accountant / Admin Officer

    WE ARE URGENTLY SEEKING TO HIRE AN Accountant/Admin Officer FOR ONE OF OUR CLIENTS.

    Job Description

    • Prepare Bank reconciliation statement every month
    • Postings to General Ledger and sub ledger
    • Ensure that all sales invoices are information from the Sales department are captured at all times
    • Submission of weekly accounting activity reports to the Management
    • Prepare payroll & make remittances including salary payments to Staff
    • Proper keeping of Invoices, Receipts and Waybills of the Company
    • Ensure that all expenditures of the Company are captured and reconciled with the various departments (Both from the factory, Purchasing department, IT and the Admin office)
    • Ensure that all withholding taxes are collected from all customers always.
    • Submission of the daily cash/bank position of the Company to the Management
    • Reconciling and Recovery of all Company’s debts from customers
    • Calculate depreciation at the end of each month as per the rates prescribed by the statute for all Company’s assets
    • Carry out annual physical verification of fixed assets with reference to the fixed asset register. Prepare physical verification report and submit to the management.
    • Capitalise the interest payable on loans borrowed for factory machineries and purchase of assets until the commissioning of project.
    • Preparation of tax matters and relating officially with the FIRS & LIRS on tax matters
    • Prepare the details of the fully depreciated assets at the end of the year.

    Professional Chef

    One of our international clients is in URGENT need of a seasoned professional Chef for one of its stations in Nigeria
    Location: MAIDUGURI AREA
    Job Type: TEMPORARY (1 MONTH)
    Work Hours: 6 Days a week/ 8 Hours per day.
    Menu: Western Food, Copy of Sample Menu and Food Order will be discussed with the qualified candidate

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    The individual amongst other functions that may be assigned must be able to:
    -Prepare and serve 3 meals per day consisting of primarily Western (British) cuisine.
    -Manage the proper handling and ordering of all ingredients
    -Develop and maintain a budget for all kitchen expenditures
    -Ensure a high standard in cleanliness and hygiene is kept at all times
    -Cook for 15 – 30 staff (average is 15 – 20 staff per day)

     

    REQUIREMENTS
    -The Individual must be able to pass a medical physical test
    -Must pass a security clearance background check by the UK military
    -Must have experience in cooking Western Cuisine
    -Must have experience running a kitchen and managing minimal staff
    Accommodation and transportation would be taken care of .
