Accountant at Power Ark Infrastructure Ltd

Work Schedule: Full-time, Onsite (Monday-Friday)
Salary: ₦200,000 - ₦300,000

We are looking for an Accountant who is proactive, organized, and able to take ownership of the company's accounting processes. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, improve systems, and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company's day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Receive, record, and reconcile customer payments (cash, transfers, POS, etc.).
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Manage petty cash and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Ensure all financial records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
• Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Handle statutory and regulatory accounting requirements where applicable.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-NYSC accounting experience. (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
• ICAN/ATS certification or active pursuit of a professional accounting qualification is an added advantage.
