    Solar Engineer (Junior)

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Solar Engineer to join our team. This role will support our clean energy initiatives by assisting with customer engagement, technical assessments, and project documentation. You will work closely with the Senior Solar Engineer to understand customer needs, evaluate solar installation feasibility, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle. 

    This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a foundational knowledge of clean energy systems and a desire to grow their expertise in a dynamic environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • ​​Assist in customer engagement by understanding their energy needs and requirements under supervision.
    • Provide introductory-level advice and recommendations on suitable solar energy solutions.
    • Support technical assessments of asset finance loans.
    • Aid in evaluating the feasibility and design of proposed solar installations.
    • Provide basic technical support and guidance to customers.
    • Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and technical documentation.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and basic technical assessments.
    • Stay updated with basic advancements in the clean energy industry.
    • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical expertise and customer engagement skills.

    Experience:

    • Background in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
    • Prior experience as a Solar Installer is a plus.
    • 3+ years of proven experience in solar engineering, with a focus on customer engagement and technical assessments.
    • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and performance evaluation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for solar design and assessment.

    Asset Financing Manager (Sales & Growth)

    Position Overview:

    The Asset Finance Manager will oversee and manage the company’s asset finance portfolio. This includes developing and implementing strategies for asset financing, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring optimal management of asset financing loan agreements, identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with key partners, including energy equipment suppliers, installers, brokers, and other stakeholders in the clean energy ecosystem. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    ⁠Asset Finance Strategy Development:

    • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for asset finance products
    • Work closely with senior management to align asset finance strategies with broader company goals.
    • Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment:
    • Conduct a thorough financial analysis of potential asset financing opportunities, including
    • Evaluate the financial performance of existing asset financing agreements and adjust strategies to maximize profitability and reduce risks.

    Partnership Development:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
    • Identify and build relationships with key industry players, including solar installers, vendors, brokers, and introducers.
    • Research and analyze potential partnerships to identify strategic opportunities for business growth and market expansion
    • Negotiate and structure mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring both parties\' objectives are met

    Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

    • Work closely with marketing to align sales campaigns, promotional activities, and lead-generation strategies for asset financing
    • Collaborate with product and operations teams to ensure product offerings are aligned with customer needs and feedback.
    • Provide insights from customers to help shape product development and enhancements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, credit, engineering, etc.) to ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives.

    Customer and Partner Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all strategic partnerships, providing leadership and oversight to ensure alignment with company goals.
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients to promote asset finance products. 
    • ⁠Advise clients on financing options, terms, and conditions to support their business needs.
    • Provide support to customers throughout the financing lifecycle, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
    • Resolve any issues or obstacles that arise in the course of managing partnerships.

    Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Asset Finance

    • Ensure all asset finance transactions comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements related to asset financing.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales metrics for asset financing, including revenue growth and forecasting.
    • Present sales data and performance updates to senior management and suggest strategies for improvements or growth.
    • Maintain a detailed sales pipeline and ensure the accuracy of all sales-related data.

    Market Research and Industry Trends:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve the company’s asset finance solutions.
    • ⁠Identify market conditions that could impact the profitability and risk of asset financing activities.
