    Corporate Sales Branch Head

    Role Summary:

    • The Corporate Sales Branch head drives acquisition and growth of corporate accounts, manages broker relationships, and executes branch-level sales strategies. The incumbent should have strong relationship building abilities, structured sales execution, and the ability to convert medium-to-large corporate opportunities across targeted industries. This role is also required to mentor and coach team members.

    Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

    • Develop and drive strategic sales plans to meet individual and branch targets.
    • Prospect, pitch, and convert new corporate clients via direct channels, partnerships and public sector accounts.
    • Manage and grow broker relationships, enhancing lead flow and conversion quality.
    • Identify and process bid and RFP opportunities; ensure timely submissions.
    • Pitch PZL products to banks, co-underwriters, ZGIC, insurance partners, and institutional clients.
    • Manage corporate client relationships, ensuring value delivery and retention.
    • Provide proactive support on issues, renewals, and client servicing.
    • Prepare weekly reports, monthly MPR inputs, and pipeline updates.
    • Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
    • Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and customer service to support seamless onboarding.

    Key Requirements:

    Educational/Professional Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Economics, or related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in corporate sales, insurance, or financial services.
    • CIIN certification (in progress or completed) is an advantage.
    • Additional sales or relationship management training is desirable.

    Key Attribute & Skills

    • Strong B2B selling, pitching, and negotiation ability.
    • Good understanding of corporate life insurance (Group Life, Credit Life, Mortgage Protection, etc.).
    • Strong stakeholder management (brokers, banks, institutions).
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal).
    • Strong reporting, market analysis, and forecasting skills.
    • Proactive, organized, resourceful, and target driven.

    Zonal Sales Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive sales performance to ensure achievement of set targets (i.e. monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets).
    • Oversee and expand sales coverage across assigned locations
    • Ensure sales processes are efficient ethical and compliant with NAICOM regulations/guidance.
    • Build and maintain strong business relationships with all stakeholders to optimize sales.
    • Train, lead and coach Financial Sales Executive (FSEs), to build their knowledge, attitude skills and
    • habits to improve retention and productivity Of the agents.
    • Track, analyse and report sales trends at the assigned locations.

    • Prepare and present sales reports, forecast and performance analysis to Regional Sales Manager & Bancassurance Sales Manager.
    • Timely engagement and collaboration with the
    • Commercial Business Support, Bancassurance
    • Recruitment & Training, and other affiliated service lines to optimize sales and FSE retention.
    • IdentiW new market opportunities and drive initiatives to expand the customer base in respective locations
    • Foster a high-performance culture with clear accountability and engagement and commitment Of FSEs.
    • Ensure proper managernent Of selling tools in branch (e.g. application forms) and support in the submission of same.
    • Prepare and present sales reports, forecast and performance analysis to Regional Sales Manager.

    Qualifications (Educational & Professional):

    • B.Sc. in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Insurance or a related field (minimum of second class lower — 2:2)
    • CIIN or any related professional certification will give an added advantage.

    Required Experience/Knowledge

    • Minimum of 5 years' sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and Agency management.
    • In-depth knowledge of life insurance products.

    Software Engineer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications in line with business and technical requirements.
    • Translate functional and non functional specifications into efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
    • Document technical designs, system changes, and development processes for maintainability and knowledge transfer
    • Support system deployments, releases, and post implementation reviews.

    • 1 - 5 years of software experience
    • A good working knowledge of relevant Life Insurance software programs and Microsoftapplications such as MS Office, Excel, Word etc.

    Key Attributes & Skills (Required)

    • Strong knowledge of Angular and DotNet frameworks, and development tools relevant to enterprise application development
    • Working knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL), data modeling, and writing efficient queries to support application functionality.
    • Understanding of application architecture, APIs, and integration between frontmend, backnend, and database layers.
    • Ability to analyze requirements, identify technical challenges, and design effective, scalable solutions.
    • Minimum of B.Sc. degree in a related course area in a recognized University.
    • M.Sc./MBA in related field will be an added advantage.

    Head, Telesales

    • Key Responsibilities:
    • Set up and oversee the endtoend telesales operation, including outbound sales, upsell crosssell, renewals, and orphan policy management. ranslate the approved telesales strategy into dear operating plans, targets. and KPIs aligned with APE, GWP, conversion rate, persistency, and call quality metrics.
    • Lead, coach, and manage the telesales team, ensuring productivity targets (calls, leads, conversions) are consistently met.
    • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards and provide structured perforrnance reports showing recommendations and strategies to improve performance of the team.
    • Own telesales scripts, call flows, objection handling frameworks, and continuous improvement Of sales effectiveness.
    • Ensure accurate and timely CRM updates, lead tracking, followups, and reporting across all telesales activities.
    • Manage customer experience and reputational risk by enforcing call quality standards, and ethical sales practices.
    • Drive continuous improvement through coaching, call perform-lance interventions, and Optimization initiatives.
    • Support implementation phases induding launch, optimization, and scaleup of the telesales channel.
    • Own risk mitigation actions relating to data privacy, compliance, conversion underperformance and channel conflict

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a first degree (BSc) in marketing, business management or related discipline (at least a grade Of 2.2 — second class lower)
    • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) accreditation or
    • Certified Telesales Executive (CTE) is desirable.
    • Relevant professional certifications in Sales, Marketing. or Customer Experience will be an added advantage.

    Experience

    • Minimum Of 5 years' experience in sales or customer acquisition roles.
    • At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably overseeing telesales, call center, digital sales, or outbound sales teams.
    • Proven experience in insurance financial services. banking, or a regulated sales environment is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience managing KPIs, sales targets, productivity metrics, and performance improvement plans.
    • Handson experience working with CRM systems, call monitoring tools, and performance dashboards

    Skills & Competencies

    • Good knowledge of the art of selling via telephoning and related channels (inbound and outbound sales operations).
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
